Heart to Heart Favorite Layout

In honor of National Scrapbooking month Heart to Heart has challenged us to post our favorite layout old or new.  What a dilemma I really love all of my layouts and picking just one just seems wrong! So I decided to pick a layout with people that I love (also a difficult task for a scrapper) and colors that I love too.  The paper pack is Bella and Yes this is another Studio J layout. I love how fast and simple it comes together and the my stickees makes every page unique.

Creme Brulee & Juniper

So I love how the color my heart dare gets me out of my "COLOR" comfort zone!  This weeks Challenge was to use Creme Brulee & Juniper; two colors I have to admit are not in my go to color palette.

So on this card I have used the craft inks and card stock in Juniper and Creme Brulee of course. I used the tweet me stamp set and added black ink and some black sparkly button bling.  If you'd like to see some more colorful creations follow this link Color My heart Dare

A True Thank You - Oklahoma Tornado Relief Campaign

Deepest Sympathy . . .

The card you never really want to make but need to have a few.  I love this Dakota paper for my outdoor photos of the fam, and cards.  However it is also my go to paper for Sympathy cards I think it carries the mood well without being too perky or depressing.  On this card I've also used the new black shimmer trim and the black button is from the new black button assortment, the sentiment is from the Card Chatter - Sympathy.

Happy Birthday . . .

So as I continue to dust off my creations that haven't been posted I came across my nephew's Birthday Card.  I'm so thankful that Close to my heart has a GREAT "boy" option for paper that works well for little boys and all the way to the teen scene.  I think L8ter Sk8ter would work for any guy!!! So here is what I came up with . . . .

On this card I have used some goodies from the L8ter Sk8ter workshop on the go kit.  The vocal image is from the stamp set included in the kit, the Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles, the sentiment is from Joyful Birthday, the inks are outdoor denim with pear as the distressing color.  I hope you are feeling inspired!

Creature Feature

Well I'm making my rounds this week. Over at H2H the Challenge is "Creature Feature". I have to admit I have been way less likely to post my Studio J creations so here is another one that I made a while back and never got around to posting.

I LOVE that in Studio J the papers NEVER disappear so if you wish we still had . . . check studio J.  I love this Animal Cookies paper it is PERFECT for a trip to the zoo and so guess what I scrapped about?  It would also be adorable for babies, toddlers, or an animal lover.
