Sick as a ....... with Pemberely

This card has been made using the Pemberly B&TDuos paper pack, all the edges are distressed in twilight, I used an assortment of CTMH markers to color my sweet sick friend.  The stamped image is not CTMH and from a retired stamp set (sorry).  But I love him and plan to keep him in my hoard for a long while

Did someone say GLITTER!!!

For this card I really wanted something to sparkle.  I think all things Christmas should have a little bling.  My dilemma was that my go to crafting store is closed on Sundays and my hoard was not supplying my needs. Or so I thought . . . . . do you see the cranberry glitter paper? Well it is made from mixing clear embossing powder with Prisma glitter, versa mark, heat gun and go.   So this is my go to technique when I want colored bling and nothing that I have on hand seems to please.  Try it and tell me what you think.  If you'd love to see the glittery creations over at heart 2 heart 9and I know you do) follow this link H2H

Harvest Time & Bouncing Brayer Technique

I love this stamp set and this technique. As I'm winding down my fall creations and gearing up my Christmas & winter ones I wanted to show some love to my brayer.

This is clean, simple and elegant. I thought long about what I could use to add some bling or embellishment but couldn't think of anything.  Do you have any Ideas?

The technique I used is called the bouncing brayer, I also used glossy paper, a palette of fall inks on a baby wipe, cocoa ink for the leaf and sentiment.

Happy Monday Crafty Friends!!!! Over at H2H this weeks challenge is Christmas.  I don't know about you but I always get bogged down scrapping my Christmas photos.  I know its is because I take so many pictures but I just do not want to miss one treasured memory.  Well that was until Studio J came along.  I love how I can upload and create dozens of pages in a sitting or two and be completely done scrapping the hundreds of photos I take this time of year.  As if that wasn't great enough now you get a free jpeg down load with every page purchased.  All for the low price of 6.95 if you'd like to learn more about studio J click the link on the left, call me or check out pg 13 of the Autumn/Winter Catalog.

Home Decor

There are so many creative ways to use hand-crafted 3-D items. Use our great products to create home décor that will bring a fun and unique accent in your home. It’s easy to use Close To My Heart products you already know and love—with a different twist!

This festive thankful countdown uses the My Creations® cubby to celebrate Thanksgiving. Fill the Cricut®-cut boxes with reminders of things you are thankful for, and share the grateful fun with your family. Use it to countdown to your favorite holiday, like Thanksgiving, or use different embellishments and countdown to a loved one’s birthday to show them how much you love them.

This adorable star was made from Collection Two of the Hostess Collections, available through Hostess Rewards in the Autumn Winter 2012 Idea Book. Show your hostesses this spunky star so they have an idea of what they can create from this particular Hostess Collection. While the Dakota paper packet, Casual Expressions stamp set, and Dakota Complements Foil Images have a country feel, you and your customers can use all of these same materials to make a welcoming star for your front door.

Everyday household items can also be combined with Close To My Heart products to create dazzling home décor. Use the Flirty paper packet and your Cricut® machine, along with everyday household items such as a flower pot and Styrofoam ball, to create a papercrafted tree. Or add a few Dimensional Elements to the autumn colors of the Flirty papers to create a desk calendar using two My Creations blocks. You can even use cute Cricut®-cut flowers and leaves to make a festive banner!

For displaying precious memories, the display tray is a perfect fit! Display photos, stamped sentiments, Dimensional Elements, and other embellishments for a prized layout that you can proudly hang anywhere in your home. The display tray is easy to personalize, too; cover up several windows with cardstock for larger photos!
