H2H Sketch Challenge

This week the Challenge at H2H is a sketch challenge ! ! ! You all know how much I love a sketch challenge and this one is NO different. Here is the sketch . . .
Here is my take on the sketch. . . . I used on of my favorite fall sets Always Grateful on pg 54 of the Annual Inspirations.  I also used the Pathfinding paper pack, Saddle, Olive, Cranberry, Honey, and Autumn Terracotta inks for the tree.  Finally I used some brown shimmer trim and washi tape.

I hope to see you playing along with this clever sketch to see some more sketchy inspirations follow this link to H2H Sketch Challenge

Cranberry, Lagoon, Goldrush, & Desert Sand Challenge

This week the Challenge at H2H is a color challenge.  The colors are Cranberry, Lagoon, Goldrush, & Desert Sand as used on the card at the bottom of page 93 in the Annual Inspirations.  I took the chance to blow the dust off one of my FAVORITE FALL stamp sets Fall Harvest as seen on page 55.  I love this triple stamp technique I cut 2" x 3-1/4", 3" x 4-1/4", 4 x 5-1/4 out of white daisy and 2-1/4" x 3-1/2", 3-1/4" x 4-1/2", 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" out of Goldrush cardstock.  I stacked the White daisy then random stamped my leaves.  The final touch was a little bling sequence to draw the eye to my sentiment.

Cas(e) this Sketch #95 meets Paper Players #216

Happy Fall Ya'll

I love this season!!!! The cool weather hikes, fires with the family, changing colors, and CRAFTING it is all my kinda fun!!!! I was inspired to make this card by the Case(e) challenge this week and the Paper Players Halloween Challenge.

For this card I used the Scardy Cat Paper pack, Thistle Cardstock, Gold Glitter paper, Arrows Washi Tape, black, Autumn Terracotta, Olive, and Orange inks, I used my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut the pumpkins to fit with the stamp from the Pathfinding Workshop On the Go, and the sentiment is from the Just to Say Cricut Colletion Artfully sent stamp set.  I love how fast this came together with the inspirations I had if you'd love to be inspired too follow these links:

Here  is my card using the Shin Han Markers. . . .

I used embossing powder and then colored over it to make it look like it is glowing or popping off the dark paper.  Below I've posted more projects using this technique.  For this card I used Snow Haven Paper pack on pg 75 of the Annual Inspirations Catalog.  Handwritten Print stamp set, Cranberry cardstock, black stars from the Scardy cat assortment, Shin Han Markers, and white embossing powder.

Now it is time to keep on hopping next up is Priscilla Gotham's blog and feel free to leave some love in the comments.

Guilty Pleasures . . . . H2H Challenge

The 1st challenge in October is GUILTY PLEASURES . . . . Uh oh . . . . . well I guess its time to come clean . . . . . well ok you twisted my arm.  I am an Ice Cream JUNKIE!!!!! I will have Ice cream in my freezer year round and often more than one flavor (like now there are 3). I have been know to make extra stops on long trips to try a local treasure.  It can not be overstated Ice cream is definitely my Guilty Pleasure.  So this year National Ice Cream day we went out for well you know Ice Cream and her is the layout I created to pay homage to my not so secret guilty pleasure.

This layout is also a sneak peek for the Stamp of the Month for June Ice Cream Dream I know I'll be using this set a ton.  I also used the Shin Han Markers featured on pg. 180 of the Annual Expressions.  I also used gold pok-a-dot & black arrow washi tape, gold & teal shimmer trim, dots, chevron, & honey comb embossing folders, lagoon, sunset, canary, thistle, gypsy, cotton candy, and sorbet inks and finally white daisy cardstock.

Now to check out all the GUILTY PLEASURES of the rest of the H2H gang follow this link
