Always in our Hearts . . .

This is the kind of card that everyone needs from time to time but no one really wants.  I needed a sympathy card and decided to use the Color Dare this week of Balloon Ride.  I also think this card fits the banner inspiration over at H2H earlier this month.

SO for this card I used the balloon ride paper pack, sorbet cardstock and the Big Hug stamp set.

To see some colorful creations follow this link Color Dare or to see some banner inspiration follow this link to H2H

MoJo Monday meets Nauti(cool)

This card was completely inspired by 2 challenges at my favorite websites to get inspiration!!! First the layout was from the MoJo Monday sketch.  The challenge is tall and skinny so my card is 3.5 x 5.5.  Then I peeked over at H2H challenges and the challenge there is Nauti(cool) the rest is craft history.

For this layout I used cranberry cardstock, ink and ribbon, Tommy paper pack, triangle durable studs, and outdoor denim ink to distress it all. Here are the links for inspiration H2H and Mojo Monday

Here is the sketch

Magical May

What is more magical than a birthday ????? Having your birthday on the 4th of July.  Yep that's right my baby sister was born on the 4th of July.  Over at H2H this month the scrap challenge is a magical moment AND make your own design paper with stamps. Kaboom was the perfect set to do this technique for my pictures!!!

For this layout I used Kaboom stamp set as well as Circus Alphabet both upcoming SOTM sets that I just couldn't wait to get inky!!! I also used cranberry and pacifica cardstock and inks.

Take 5 !!!!!

Happy Memorial Day!!!!! For the last three years I have participated in a the Wounded Warrior 5k sponsored by Operation Welcome You Home.  All the proceeds go to help those wounded serving our country and this year we raised enough money for a soldier to get a MOTORIZED wheelchair.  Here is a page that I created from the 1st 5k in 2012 (yes I'm a bunny scrapper hopping from event to event and year to year) When I heard that this month one of the challenges at H2H was take 5 I thought this is the perfect inspiration for me to scrap some of the 5k's.

For this page I used Cranberry and Pacifica inks and cardstock, Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge for the 5, Kaboom(June SOTM)  and Circus Alphabet (July SOTM) and some blue epoxy bubbles with red gems. If you'd love to see more inspiration follow this link to H2H.

This card was also inspired by the sketch for Mojo Monday and you can find it here MoJo

For this card I used the Kaboom stamp of the month (not available till June 1st), cranberry and pacifica inks and cardstock.

In the Garden with Buttercup and Hollyhock

It has been so long since I posted to more than one or two challenges I had to go back and read all the directions before I posted this card!!!! I used buttercup and Hollyhock ink for the color dare, the flower image is from the Ivy Lane Workshop on the go for Scrapbooking and I think it fulfills the garden challenge for H2H and the flower challenge for Less is More and the sketch is from CAS on Sunday. Phew 4 challenges one card is a record for me.  This card is 6 x 3 1/2.  I made it for my dear friend Helen who's Birthday is this week.

Here are all the links to more creations !!!!

Thanks Oodles

Wow I can hardly believe we are OVER half way through may already!!!!!! My son had his end of the year chess party and I wanted to thank the coaches and sponsors for all the hard work and dedication they gave to each one of the kids on the team and in the club with a little gift and here is the card I made to attach to the goodies.  I was inspired by the CAS on Sunday sketch. I chose not to link this project up since I have another one coming later this week.

For this quick card I used white daisy cardstock, pacifica and honey inks as well as the June Stamp of the month and doodle signs.

Tall & Skinny

last week Tall and skinny was the Free to be Me Paper pack and this is the card that I was inspired to make . . . .

For this card  I also used a little sunset twine, Sunset, Sweet leaf and Lagoon Inks.  I used the rock n roll technique and paper pieced the sunset for the sentiment which is from the stamp of the month You've got a Friend.  Here is the link for the MoJo Monday Sketch.

Spring Flowers . . .

Here is another card I made using the stamp of the Month You've got a friend in me and the Ivy Lane paper pack. I also used smokey plum ink and a little lollydoodle paper too!  I trimmed one of the flowers from the paper to embellish the card and added a pearl
