July SOTM Swap

Here is a card I made for my 1st ever swap . . . . .

This card features the July Stamp of the month Live out Loud.  I also have used Footloose B&T Duos, Pear Cardstock, and Lagoon Cardstock which I also used liquid glass on to get that shiny look.  The ink is also Lagoon which I used to swipe the Footloose B&T Duos.  Did you notice it looks like the sentiment is jumping off the card?  I used an adhesive spring!!!! I LOVE the added dimension these springs give to ANY project. I can hardly wait to see what I recieve fro mthe swap . . . .stay tuned I think I'll post a few the rest you'll just have to see in person ; )

Add a "Photo" challenge

Adding photos to my crafts is no trouble for me I LOVE taking them and featuring them on EVERYTHING!!!!! So I kind of challenged my self to not just upload a scrapbook page.  I also needed to update my posters for the church library and viola !  Here is my submission for the add a "photo" challenge. I used my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut the Letters from a very old stack of paper from Hobby Lobby not sure of the brand?  But I thought it fit my Father's Day Poster for my Church's Library Perfectly! Distressing ?

When I pulled out the Footloose B&TDous Paper for the Scrapbook Challenge I noticed it looked pretty distressed already so I grabbed my handy Brown Bag ink and distressed it some more.  I also used Lagoon to distress the Cardstock.  The caption on the bottom is actually a scrap that was cut of a "Life is tweet card" I previously posted.  Simple but oh so sweet!  Check out what the oh so talented ladies over @H2H http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/2012/05/distressing-challenge.html

This month's scrapbook challenge is right up my alley LOTS of pictures.  I just couldn't decide what to do so my Easter pics are sorted and waiting , maybe even the leftover St. Patty's day ones.
