So there is a new Sketch challenge over at Heart to Heart . . . .

  So I tend to have a wee bit of a SUPER woman complex. You know the "I can do it all" "I can handle this" "It's really no big deal" until I'm up to my eyeballs and begging for help (not that that happened this time) Come on ladies raise your hands if I'm not alone (thanks for your support). So 2 of my besties from book club have been persistently asking to bring treats and I took a month off and let them. Well IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!! I wanted them to know how much I appreciated the break and the TASTY treats so that was my inspiration for the two cards below. However I needed "crafty" inspiration too. So I hopped over to Heart to Heart to see if they could help. (I should never doubt) Of Course the challenge this week was PERFECT! So here are 2 more styles using the same technique as the card I posted Saturday. I just used a different color palette and on the bottom a different stamp set.

So have I mentioned that July is a month with a ton of birthdays ?  This card is for a friend who's Birthday was yesterday.  She lives close so I plan to hand deliver.

This technique is WOW look that is super easy and FUN!  I'll be posting a couple different styles and colors of the same technique this week.  The best part is their is no extra postage needed to mail these.

A "geometric" challenge with a birthday twist.

Since July is a big birhtday Month for me I make lots of Birthday cards. Today is my friend Connie's birthday so I hope she likes this card. 

Happy Monday !!! Monday's mean a new challenge over at heart to heart.  This week, our challenge is to include the following: Line, Line, Circle, Square. Can you find the requirements?

The circles are my saprkles the square is the top layer of the Lucy B&TDuos paper and one of my lines is the seam binding ribbon died with blush and the other is the pink lacy strip over my square.

Adoption Celebration

One of my long time friends has been on an adoption journey and the time now has come to celebrate !!!!  So here is the card I made for her and her additions to the family.

Here is the inside of the card.

In this card I have used B&TDuos paper pack, the Family Love and Vintage Type stamp sets.  Also I added milestone shapes and the ink is Dutch Blue (because they are VERY Dutch)

My Sister is a 4th of July Baby!
