way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find a list of the participating blog's below.

This month we have 67 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their
creations using this month's SOTM and other great NEW CTMH products on their blogs. This is
simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
So settle in with your favorite beverage and prepare to be inspired!!!!

Here is a close up of the set . . . .

I love the little owls and how easily they go with one of my favorite techniques "Paper Pieceing" . I used my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge to cut the emblem from colonial white and my newest favorite THISTLE.  Then I stamped the larger owl image 3 times once on the colonial white, and twice on a scrap piece of SCARDY CAT once on each side then I cut them out and pieced then togetrher leaving one a complete owl and the other cutting the eyes and tummy out and adhereing them all to the colonial white.  Did you notice the new striped twill ribbon? Super versitle !!!

Now "Hop" on over to Jen Patrick's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Feel free to leave a comment we all appreciate the love.  Remember What a Hoot is only available until  the last day of the month!

Also Friday August 1st is my Annual Inspirations Open house so please RSVP to let me know your coming!!!!

Red, White ......and Black

The Scrapbook challenge this month at H2H is Red and White so I chose to scrap my nephews graduation since the school colors are . . . . you guessed it Red and White so I used Cranberry and White Daisy.  I also used the Black glitter paper to give the pages some elegance, I used the Cricut Artiste to cut the overlays and the photo mats.  The photo mats are black with Liquid glass to give them that shiny look that I love!!! The stamps are from the new stamp set great job available August 1st.  I also used glitter trim washi tape and chevron ribbon.

So head on over to H2H for some scrappin inspirations!!!!

Up, up, and Away with a Cas(e)

Over at H2H the challenge was Up, Up, and away which goes right along with the balloon ride paper packet so I found a balloon I liked to trim right out of the paper.  I also used the zip strip from the paper pack.  I saw this layout from Cas(e) this sketch and viola the rest is stamping history.  I used lagoon ink and the sentiment is from a new set called Your own kind of wonderful available starting August 1st.

The Spice of Life . . . .

Over at H2H the challenge is the Spice of Life.  What could be more spicy than a new paper pack sneak peek ??? Not much that I can think about especially in July.  So here it is Chalk it Up with one of the stamps from the WOTG.  I LOVE this paper pack and couldn't have made one better to scrap my kiddos senior year (WHAT a SENIOR where does the time go!)

More Mojo and Color Dare

For this card I used my water brush to use the ink that gets stuck to the top of my pad tp color in the thank you stamp.  I also used hounds tooth washi, and embossing folders.  Also if you peeked at my blog yesterday you know that this was inspired by both MOJO maondays sketch and Color My Heart Challenges.

Color Dare #100 and Mojo Monday 353

This card was inspired by 2 of my favorite blogs Color My Heart Color Dare and Mojo Monday.  Whenever I need a little inspiration I take a peek and they never fail to get my creative juices flowing.

I love this paper pack and have been hoarding it but I do not love why I had to make this card!  For this card I used Dakota paper Pacifica ink and triangle studs.

Happy Birthday Penny !!!!!!

and Happy 4th of July!!!!

Yes my sister was born on the 4th of July and today is her Birthday!!!!  It felt SO good to get inky today I've been in a couple college classes this summer (WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!) one of which has been intense condensed and has had me studying 6 hrs a night. So something had to give along with housecleaning and grocery shopping crafting was nixed.  But now I'm happy to say I'm back in balance and hope to be inkin around alot (a girls gotta make up for lost time right) so back to the card . . . I was going through some of my swaps to get insipred and this treat bag made by Terry Callaghan grabbed my eye.  I thought I bet I could make that into a card and the rest is stamping history!

So both projects  use Jubilee papers (one of my favs) and the Made from scratch stamp set with cranberry bakers twine.  I also used  From me to you for the sentiment on my card and some durables to add to the shabby chic look.  I love the way this turned out and I hope you do too.  If ya see my sister today wish her a Happy Birthday !!!!
