CTMH Art Philosophy Bags

Wow time flies when your having fun!  I've been playing with my new Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge and realized it was after 8 remembering I mentioned posting my creations today.   Well these are my 1st tries at some of the bags the cartridge has to offer.  The Heart bag is made with the Lucy B&T Duos Paper.  Cut at 5 1/2 so four fit on a sheet of paper.  The handled one is made with the Pemberely B&T Duos cut at 5 1/2 and 2 fit on a sheet.  I think one of these might be a component in my hostess gift at a upcoming  home gathering. 

The cute little Chinese take out container is made from the CTMH Dreamin B&T Duos and the curvy box is made with Florentine.  Both are just the right size to hold my petite perks give aways.

These french fry boxes are so adorable just the right size for a gift card or a Ghirardelli square.  Both are made with paper from the Super Hero B&T Duos Paper.  I love the B&T Duos paper because it has two sides of patterns to choose from.    Now all I need to do is decide.

These Pillow boxes are made with the Stella B&T Duos paper.  Wow and all of this came from 1 function of 6 keys.  Well I think that is it for now O yeah I suppose I should complete these projects  ; )

My Boxes Have ARRIVED !!!!!!!

My boxes have ARRIVED !!!!!!!  I'm so excited my Consultant Kit from Close to my Heart has arrived!!!!!!  I have a feeling the FedEx man and I are going to be great friends.  I can hardly wait to play with all of these new goodies!  I will be posting some of my creations after work. 

Coffee Shop Card

So this is hands down my most Loved CTMH stamp set "Coffee Shop". I love to use the paper piecing technique to make the cup look so life like. The cup is pieced from the Hooligans pack.  If you check back often one thing I'm sure you'll realize quick is purple is my favorite color (in this card I used Smokey Plum) and I have a hard time not putting it on EVERYTHING. The textured paper is from Achiever's (gotta love those BOGO coupons) It is the Grape Jelly Bazzil paper. The ribbon was from my dear friend Ruth.

Hooligans Paper Pack

Well when I ordered this off the clearance rack I did not notice just how many little "hooligans" where all over the paper even the monochromatic side. So I've been trying to think up creative ways to use up the sheets that are ... well NOT my favorite. I knew I wanted to make a card with "Butterfly kiss" stamp set and when I saw the butterfly I knew I could make monarchs out of some of the orange hued paper. I really love the Irish proverb that is in this set and thought it would make a good focal point. So I finally came up with a way to cover up those little hooligans with butterflies!!! Butterflies make EVERYTHING better. I like this hiding technique so much I may need to make a Scrapbook page inspired by this card.

From Me to You take 2

So I can never make just one card because of the leftover white card stock. A thrifty crafter is a happy crafter. So this card was made the same as the one in yesterday's post with a few minor changes. The flower is stamped in Watermelon and I also stamped the center of the Daisy in Sweetleaf. I love the simplicity and clean look of these two cards.

Retro Week

So I'm trying to wait patiently for my consultant kit and decided to check and see if any of my CTMH stamps are not retired. While doing so I came across some of my absolute favorite stamps and even my very first CTMH set. That is when I got the idea to go Retro this week while I wait for my consultants kit. So this card is from the "From Me To You" D size set. The inks I've used are Hydrangea and Sweet Leaf. The blossom is stamped on the white card stock and then again on a scrap of white. After cutting out the blossom I raised it up on pop dots. Before adhering to the card I used a pencil to curl the edges. (thanks Elaine for the tip)

Heart to Heart Challenge #3

I love the inspiration of playing along with a challenge!!! Here is another page for the Heart to Heart challenge.http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/p/h2h-scrapbooking.html  This time I turned the layout.  The papers and stickers are from recollections and creative imaginations.  The papers have been distressed with CTMH Brown Bag ink.  Tomorrow is the big day I order my kit!!!!! Heart to Heart Challenge #2

This is the page that I had to finish for the Heart to Heart Challenge before I did any others.  Because this is the one my son suggested.  He thought if the page was finished first I could take pictures with this particular layout in mind.  When  I give a scrapbook as a gift I put mats down with a suggested picture size just like on this page.  So far everyone loves it and now I use them when creating layouts or trying to decide what pictures to use.

 I used paper from DCWV spring pack, recollections, American crafts and the shamrock is paper punched from Close to my Heart Hooligans paper pack.  The paper is distressed with CTMH brown bag ink

Hot Chocalte 5K

So this is the layout I'm the most proud of and intend to link to the Heart to Heart Page.  What do you think? the mug is paper pieced with paper from Close to my Heart hooligans paper pack. The other papers are from Recollections.  The ink is Close to my Heart White Daisy, Smokey Plum and Brown bag.  The papers have been distressed with a combo of brown bag and smokey plum.  The Stamp is Close to my Heart Coffee Shop and Tiny Typewriter. My Very 1st Blog Post

This is completely uncharted territory for me!!!  I can hardly believe that I have a blog.  This blog is to feature projects inspired by my almost new Close to my Heart business.  I intend to order my consultant kit soon and begin posting as soon as it arrives.  Well maybe even sooner as I'm feeling like pulling out some of my on hand supplies and creating something.
